As I sit here writing this, I just finished up some of the final pieces to making my online shop! Also happening in a few days, the biggest art event of the year is upon us as Art-A-Whirl is this weekend! Art-A-Whirl is put on by NEMAA (Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association) and happens every Spring. This event brings in thousands of people and is considered the largest arts festival/art crawl in the United States! This will be my 3rd year participating and my first year in my new space. It will be very interesting to see if having a space on the 2nd floor instead of the 4th makes much of a difference? I did very well at last years event on 4th floor but lots of folks never make it up that far. That makes sense as there are over 300+ artists in the building and our building is only one of many in the area. To find out more about this event you can visit www.NEMAA.org.
