Having just finished up a new piece titled "Wisdom Tower" I'm feeling excited to jump into Spring. The piece is one of the larger ones I have done recently and to complete it took a lot of little chunks of time here and there around my kids schedules.
In other news I will be participating in an upcoming show called "Wanderlust" at the Artless Bastard Gallery in West De Pere, WI. It is a juried show and the piece I entered is "Spring". This will be the first art show for me since college 12 years ago. I just wrapped up an artist statement which was difficult to write. My goal was to keep it short and concise without sounding pretentious. Lucky for me I have a friend who is an incredible writer and was willing to help me whip it into shape.
I'm excited for the ideas I have for my next works in progress and can't wait to share them with you soon!
