Hi There and happy September to you!
I have an exciting update to share and so I’ll get right to it! My friend and fellow artist Jennifer Zoss and I have been working for the past year on putting together an art show at the Robbin Gallery in Robbinsdale, MN. The time has finally come and the opening reception is fast approaching. I have photographed and spent time with ten amazing women to create a new body of work that celebrates who they are at this moment in their lives. My intention was to create a piece based on each woman in the hopes that they will come to the final show and see themselves as a work of art. I have never been in a show in which I displayed more than a few pieces of my work at a time. I feel a great amount of gratitude towards the Robbin Gallery and all of the women who gifted me their time. Having a show scheduled 12 months out gave me a lot of drive and a deep sense of responsibility to produce something that each woman feels proud of. I hope you can join Jennifer and I for the opening reception which is being held on Thursday, October 6th from 6-9pm!
